Tom Brady shares hilarious reason why he’s not retiring

New England Patriots fans were slightly concerned over Tom Brady’s future earlier this year as reports swirled that Brady wasn’t yet committed to playing, but the 40-year-old made it clear that he’ll be back.

Brady for sure will retire as the most accomplished player in league history – but there is one milestone Brady’s still chasing: 1,000 career rush yards.

Tom Brady put on some tiny shorts and shared a video of himself doing sprints in the sand, and in an Instagram caption wrote that he’s coming back for the 2018 season to pad his rushing total.

Brady even called out Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers in his excellent caption.

Brady has a total of 968 rushing yards in 557 attempts, with 17 career rushing touchdowns – but it might take Tom more than one season to eclipse 1,000. He recorded just 28 rushing yards in 2017, and his single-game high was nine yards against the Saints.
