What seems like a move that makes plenty of sense to the outside world may not be quite as popular inside the locker room.
The Browns are going all in on Nick Chubb this Friday, dealing ?Carlos Hyde’s ?hefty contract to running back-needy Jacksonville in exchange for a fifth-rounder.
Surely, the players will be pumped! After all, they just un-crowded their strange backfield, right? Well…about that…

Yeah, Damarious Randall’s not exactly joyful.
The outspoken former Packers DB who made headlines this past week by blowing smoke up the Browns and dissing his old Dom Capers-led defenses now seems to have a bit less faith in his squad.
Seems he and Hyde must have developed a very real friendship, the kind that doesn’t care about cap space or long-term viability. Outsiders, at least, seem to understand the benefit.
John Dorsey essentially saying I need to force Hue to play our best players.
Nick Chubb – 16 att, 173 yards
Duke Johnson – 19 att, 111 yards
Carlos Hyde – 114 att, 382 yardshttps://t.co/FZKfV4gYiJ

Sorry, Damarious, but winning has to outlast friendships. Right? It’s tough in the moment, but it’ll get better, kiddo. The former Buckeye had to go.
Emmanuel Ogbah, though, agreed with Randall.

This issue seems, uh…widespread.

The entire city’s somehow in shambles over what objectively seems like a good move.
ENTIRE CITY OF CLEVELAND, your thoughts on the Carlos Hyde deal?! pic.twitter.com/P4XEHSLO3W

Trouble in paradise? And by “paradise,” I guess we mean Cleveland?
